Advanced Math Course

The advanced math course allows students to take high school algebra and become eligible to take the algebra exit exam. Upon successful completion of the course (grade C or higher) and a passing exam score students may take advanced math in high school. This course allows them to earn credit for algebra before entering high school.



The debate team allows students to enhance similarities and differences between various viewpoints. Students are able to communicate and analyze arguments while simultaneously improving their reading, oral, and writing skills.



ArtsXChange, a new arts education initiative of the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, where teaching artist mentors collaborate with pre-service teachers in facilitating arts integration learning in the classroom. Utilizing a unique blend of aesthetic education methodology, arts integration concepts, and art (theatre, music, dance, and visual art) education.


Chicago Children's Choir

The Chicago Children's Choir allows students to express themselves vocally. Rehearsals take place once a week and students are exposed to a vast repertoire of musical selections.
